The Woods at Blight's Hollow is a folk horror tabletop roleplaying game of mystery and imagination illustrated by Corey Brickley (Penguin, Disney, Harper Collins) and written by Oli Jeffery (Quietus, Extreme Meatpunks Forever, Trophy). It concerns the children of Blight’s Hollow, an isolated village surrounded by a trackless forest in a time before electricity and radio, a world of hearthside tales and nights to be feared. Inspired by the works of Guillermo Del Toro, Angela Carter, The Brothers Grimm, Kirsty Logan and Mary Shelley amongst others, this is a tabletop roleplaying game of the darkest fairy tales and the queerest folk-horror. Unfortunately, I've been sick as a dog the last three days, so Leporid Colony and Plerotus Prince will not be with you this week.
Hello everyone! We're just proofing and redrafting the final text on the The Pleurotus Prince and The Leporid Colony, two delightfully disgusting mysteries that concern magical plagues that the Hollow. Writing them has made my fingers itch.
Writing for the remaining Beasts of the Hollow: The Yubbebodgrahf, The Boggans and my favourites The Bettashalmsfolk is well under way also, with text about 50 - 90% there on each of them.
The PDF of the Prince and the Warren Folk mysteries will be with you this week, but as a stop gap, here is Corey's wonderful art for this section.
